Pickleball. Wondering what it is and how it is played? Pickleball is a popular paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping pong. It is typically played on a rectangular court with a net in the middle. The game is played with a plastic ball that has small holes (similar to a wiffle ball) and solid paddles. Pickleball can be played as singles or doubles and is enjoyed by people of all ages and skill levels.  This clinic is for those that have a curiosity for the game and have not played before.  This provides an overview of the game  and how it is played.

Intermediate/Adv Intermediate

[ typically Player Rating of 3.0 - 3-5]

Class designed for serious and competitive players who are committed to improving their skills, feel they have plateaued and have been playing for a few months.  You must be able to hold a rally for multiple hits, be able to dink, volley, transition to the NVL (“kitchen”), reset  and execute drop shots occasionally as part of your play.  Each 90 minute class will focus on play strategy and court awareness and challenge you.  Class size is limited.  Expectation is that feedback that is provided to each student during class will be implemented in play outside of this weekly class.

We will cover advanced techniques and strategies specific to the game involving in-depth analysis of game scenarios, studying opponents, tactical approaches, decision making and developing a deep understanding of the game’s nuances.

Coaches will provide immediate personalized feedback, identify areas for improvement, and help players refine their skills.
